New versions of ProofMaster and PrintFactory RIPs

The Colour Collective announces new versions of ProofMaster and PrintFactory RIPs.
January 27th 2010 – Colour management specialists The Colour Collective announce the release of version 4 of the ProofMaster and PrintFactory RIPs from Four Pees.
ProofMaster offers a complete proofing solution for offset, gravure, flexo, newsprint and packaging simulation. ProofMaster’s sister brand PrintFactory offers a completely new point of view on banner and sign production. In this environment, PrintFactory becomes the heart of the production process offering job preparation and editing, printing, cutting and proofing from the same platform.
Version 4 of both RIPs have improved compatibility with Mac OS X 10.6 and Windows 7, new support contracts, additional drivers for new printers and a generic printer driver allowing the RIP to control any printer.
ProofMaster Certify and ProofMaster Plus (renamed for this release) benefit from improvements in nesting and colour management but PrintFactory has the lion share of the new features. These include:
